Buses to and from Olbia Airport with Bus Routes and Times

Olbia Airport buses take passengers via bus lines number 2 and 10 to Via Gabriele D'Annunzio in Olbia town, where the train station is located. From this station passengers can take trains to Golfo Aranci, Oristano, Cagliari, Macomer or Sassari for example or book themselves on some of the tourist trains like the Green Train, which goes on a scenic tour of the island.

Most buses are operated by ARST (Azienda Regionale Sarda Transporti). ARST buses link Sardinia's towns and villages. The major bus pick up and drop off points are situated in the centers of towns and villages, where ARST is typically represented by a bus station. Tickets can be purchased at the airport, the bus stations, at tobacconists, in bars and at newspaper stands near the bus stations.

Bus line number 2 leaves the airport at 7.30 am for its first run into Olbia town, continuing services at intervals of 30 minutes throughout the day until 08.00 pm. On weekends and during public holidays this shuttle service is covered by Olbia Airport buses from service number 10, which runs the first service at 7.30 am and then continues at 45 minute intervals throughout the day until 07.15 pm.

Line 2 buses from Olbia Airport travel via Poltu Quadu, SS 125, Via Roma, via Mameli, Via San Simplicio, Via G. D'Annunzio, Viale A. Moro, Via Gramsci, Via Sangallo, Via Vignola, Viale A. Moro to Capolinea Base. The return journey to the airport also starts at this station at 07.00 am on weekdays until 07.55 am and from then continues at 30 minute intervals until 07.30 pm, when the last bus leaves.

Line 10 buses run from the airport to Poltu Quadu, SS 125, Via Roma, Via Regina Elena, Corso Umberto I, Via Mameli, Via Roma, SS 125, Poltu Quadu back to the airport.

Passengers arriving at the airport can also board buses that cover long distances and travel between important towns like Cagliari and the airport. TRUMO Travel operates in the airport and coaches leave P.zza Matteotti in Cagliari at 05.40 am for Olbia, where they arrive at 10.25 am. During the journey they stop at Sardara, Oristano, Tramatza, Abbasanta, Bivio Ghilarza, Ottana, Bivio Orotelli, Nuoro Terminal ARST, Nuoro Osp. S. Francesco, Bivio Orune, Bivio Lula Dorgali, Siniscola and Bivio S. Teodoro.

Long distance buses from Olbia Airport also leave for Porto Pozzo and there is a service leaving daily at 10.30 am for Santa Teresa Di Gallura (Piazza Modesto), which arrives in Porto Pozzo at 11.59 am. The return service leaves Porto Pozzo at 02.30 pm and arrives at Olbia Airport at 03.56 pm.

Olbia Airport buses and coaches also travel several times a day to Nuoro and Siniscola. Services start at 06.50 am and run roughly every two hours until 09.35 pm to Nuoro and 07.35 pm to Siniscola. These services are operated by ARST (www.arst.sardegna.it), while some coach services from the airport are also operated by F.LLI DEPLANO (www.deplanobus.it). The latter include travel to Nuoro and Cala Gonone, taking in a large number of villages on their way.
